Essay Info
T. ROSE Foundation is inviting middle, and high school students to help honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by submitting essays that reflect on Dr. King's dream.
$250 Cash Award for Winners; second and third place winners will receive cash awards also; and participants will have an opportunity to receive cash and prizes.
The 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest!
Winners will be awarded during an onsite presentation celebration.

Writing Prompt:
Students must submit an individual essay that reflects on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream and work toward equality. Students should incorporate their aspirations and the importance of what Dr. King means to them.
Bonus Question: How do you relate to Dr. King as a Social Entrepreneur?
Word Count Guidelines:
Students may submit essays with drawings or photos.
Middle School (6-8): 300 words minimum
High School (9-12): 500 words minimum
**Students in grades below Middle School can submit; we will review and consider; the submission. Adjusted due to multiple requests. Good Luck!
