Since its inception in 1999, through the vision of Founder and CEO, Theresa Randleman; T. ROSE Entertainments' growth has soared to become an internationally known entertainment firm. Our clients include some of the most entertaining artists on the Jazz scene; highly sought after playwrights and producers; as well as the utmost premiere entertainment venues across the Country.
The beginning years of business involved contracts with national touring plays, productions and the UniverSoul Circus. Securing groups sales, travel planning and promotions per event. Also, artist and venue contracting, public relation and media contracting and promotions.
Early in 2008, T. ROSE secured her first jazz artist for management, after producing and promoting numerous jazz shows. February 2010, and invitation was received to attend an Entertainment Summit in Washington, D.C. The Army's Entertainment Division sought industry Pros to come together for a brainstorming session. This Summit embarked international success for T. ROSE; with the production of her first international jazz tour.... Smooth Grooves Tour Europe!
October 2012, T. ROSE brought forth years of experience with live stage plays and became the Producer of a local stage play entitled: "ColorBlind" which included well known gospel entertainers: Wess Morgan, Andrea Helms (BET Sunday's Best), Tasha Lockhart (BETs Sunday Best winner 2013) and Pastor Brian Hurst (seen in Tyler Perry productions).
The start of 2013 brought more recognition for T. ROSE! She was nominated for a Slantress Inspire Award in the Business Woman category by Slantress Magazine; held in Baltimore, Maryland. April 2013, T. ROSE booked over 20 musicians for the Seabreeze Jazz Festival (ranked one of the top 10 jazz festivals in the nation). And she also brought together number Detroit, Michigan musicians to perform under the name of Motown Jazz Xperience. This musical vision of T. ROSE was a huge hit during the Seabreeze Festival. June 2013, T. ROSE co-produced Detroit Riverwalk Jazz Series; hosting national and international artists and capturing the attention of jazz media around the globe. While in the midst of the booking and co-producing jazz performances across the country; T. ROSE was called upon to collaborate with the planning team of a Downtown Jazz Series in her hometown of Lansing, Michigan. The Jazz on the Grand / Grand Concert Series was birthed, July 29, 2015 providing free jazz concerts through a monthly free concert series on the Grand River, in the heart of Downtown Lansing!
Ms. Randleman, Founder and CEO of T. ROSE, Inc. The Foundations' affiliate name: W.I.N.G.S. (Women Inspiring and Nurturing Girls Self-esteem nonprofit). The Entertainment and Foundation was brought together under one umbrella for the Idlewild Music Festival (Festival); 2015 and 2016, which was Produced by Ms. Randleman. The Festivals brought life, entertainment and unity back to a Historic African American Landmark that was losing its historic legacy. The Festivals incorporated empowerment sessions, entertainment and more. Ms. Randleman's years of experience in producing, programming and marketing played a major role in bringing national attention the Festival. Interviews from ABC Networks were requested and provided; along with media support from the State of Michigan's Pure Michigan Travel and Tourism Department, major radio broadcast stations and newspapers. Support and sponsorship from Michigan Humanities Council and others also played a major role in the success of the Festivals.
Ms. Randleman’s passion was recognized and awarded in 2016 in two ceremonies; Career Mastered – Leadership in Action award honoree and also recognized as the International Women’s Day Award recipient. Both ceremonies were held in Detroit, Michigan.
